Martin Pastula, Public Sector Practice Leader
Marty has 30+ years’ experience in public sector, IT sales and marketing. Most recently, he lead the market growth and media product development for the emergency management, homeland security, and public safety industries at e.Republic, Inc., the nation’s leading publishing, research, event, and new media company focused on information technology for the state/local government and education markets.
Previously, Mr. Pastula was Vice President of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for ICF International, located in Washington, DC. While at ICF he led the design of a National Emergency Management and 911 dispatch system. He also served on the Board of Directors for the IJIS Institute, an independent non-profit funded by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
Prior to his work at ICF, Martin spent 10 years at Microsoft Corporation as the US Manager, Justice & Public Safety, where he was responsible developing Microsoft’s Justice & Public Safety partner community and assisting with product development and marketing strategies.
Mr. Pastula has held a variety of senior management positions for Digital Equipment Corporation, Promedics Data Corporation, and NBC Burbank. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from San Jose State University and certificates from Stanford University’s Center for Executive Leadership and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Steve Lebedoff, Healthcare Practice Leader
Steve has over 25+ years in the Sales Management and Technology areas related to healthcare delivery and Human Capital. Steve was Founder/President of BeneTrax, which he sold to Aon Corp. Steve spent 11 years at Aon where he served as Strategic Director for National and Global Accounts, for Aon’s Worksite Solutions division. Steve was a liaison to several of Aon’s business units including Aon Consulting and Aon Risk. These efforts were focused on national accounts, including; associations, brokers/consultants national payroll/HR companies and public sector accounts. Steve also served on the industry practice councils for Aon Consulting and Aon Risk to develop and facilitate collaborative sales strategies to further “organic” growth within Aon. Steve is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, through the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and the IFEBP. He also cofounded the Center for Sustainable Healthcare, a “think tank” at the University of Nevada, Division of Health Sciences/Medical School and serves as a Governor appointed member to the Healthcare and Medical Services Sector Council, for the State of Nevada.
Jim Arellano, Executive Vice President – Partnerships & Alliances
Jim has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare delivery and risk management. He started his career in National Account Executive for Dignity Health, Jim was Founder/President of BP Insurance and Financial, an employee benefit and risk management consulting firm, which he developed as one of the most successful in Northern California, the firm was sold to ABD/Wells Fargo Insurance in 1999. Jim, was Vice President for Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, in San Francisco, where he was responsible for national account sales. In addition in 2008, he was Western region Vice President, for United Health Group, where he was responsible for Fortune 1000, public sector and labor union business.
Jim is currently a member of the State of California Cybersecurity Task Force, and member of University of Nevada Center for Cyber Excellence.
